I want to introduce you to my new blog site darryl-peal.squarespace.com. It was going to be called DAP's Blog 2.0 but Squarespace wouldn't give me that option. (LOL!) After much consideration, I have rejoined the society of bloggers and will attempt to provide our community with an additional location for insightful and up-to-the-minute information regarding BCED's supplier diversity initiatives, community impact programs and our war to combat the digital divide. It is my goal to make this blog worthy of your time.
As I journey expeditiously to meetings, symposiums, conferences and seminars, I often come across presentations and articles that offer insight and valuable information concerning supplier diversity, technology and community impact, and I wonder “how can I share this with the many friends and colleagues who are invested in these issues?" This blog has been created to be a warehouse of data, information and best practices for minority business professionals, community leaders and business owners. This will be a forum to share articles, researched studies, trends and knowledge. Information is power, and instead of keeping all of this rich information to ourselves we can share it!
It is a joy to be at the University of Minnesota in this rich academic and socially conscious campus. I love my new Minnesota family and feel blessed to be in this community!
